SCA-LARC’s foundational principle is to create experientially rich landscapes that are ecologically performative and environmentally sustainable.
SCA-LARC (Steven Chavez Associates – Landscape Architecture) was founded in 2009 by Steven Chavez. Chavez holds a landscape architecture degree from the University of Washington and began his professional experience under the tutelage of landscape architects Gustafson Guthrie Nichol. Steven is a licensed landscape architect, co-founder of the National Association of Minority Landscape Architects and a certified professional by the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards.
SCA-LARC is a full service landscape architecture practice. Projects and services range in scale from residential to civic. Residential work includes intimate spaces designed with spatial clarity and attention to details. Our civic design concepts aim towards creating people places that are long-lasting and experientially rich.
